Jody Campbell, DVM

Like many young girls, Jody grew up wanting to be a veterinarian. While she wasn't born in a barn , she did spend a large amount of her childhood in one. Since the age of 9, Jody has ridden competitively in nearly every discipline. Her love for the show arena span multiple National competitions in vaulting (as a vaulter, coach, and lunger), as well as qualifying for and participating in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Nationals in english flat, over fences, and reining.
Jody attended Oregon State University where she majored in Animal Science and minored in Chemistry, graduating cum laude in 2003. While there she rode on the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team in both english and western events.
Upon graduation she was accepted into Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine. She focused on Companion Animal Medicine, with a strong emphasis on Equine Surgery, Medicine and Lameness. Jody graduated from Purdue University in 2007 and headed back home to Washington.
Following veterinary school she practiced for three years at a small private practice, focusing on small animals and pocket pets, so that she could balance family life and continue riding. Jody attended courses at Options for Animals to study animal chiropractic and graduated from that program in 2010.
In March of 2014 she decided it was time to open her own business to provide animal chiropractic services to the Puget Sound area. Practicing solely animal chiropractic allows her to balance family and professional life - and keeps her in the barn and around animals.
She still spends a lot of time at the family barn, Faith Farm. Her hobbies include keeping up with her two daughters, running, judging horse competitions, and enjoying the great outdoors. Jody has the best dog, Hero, two mischievous cats, Kevin and Kyle, and also eight chickens.
