Chiropractic Care:
All patients are examined for mobility, gait, areas of decreased flexibility, and areas of heat or pain. Any owner concerns are addressed during the examination. Equine patients will need to be lunged and/or ridden at the start of their examination. Lab results of bloodwork and/or x-rays may be reviewed if provided.
It's recommended that all patients be 'rested' for 24 hours after being adjusted. For horses this means no riding or hard lunging (turn out is fine), for dogs and cats this means a nice lazy day at home.
All patients will be given care instructions following their examination and adjustments which includes stretching and/or exercises to help maintain the animal's mobility. Most commonly, animals are recommended to have follow-up appointments every 3-4 weeks. For information on why see FAQ.

EQUINE GAIT ANALYSIS
2 hour hands-on class that covers normal and irregular movement patterns in the horse. Includes exercises to help restore and maintain balanced movement in your equine partner. This course is designed for students 10+ years old.
